First hour: lock, buy, and steal

Lock the base, put one income unit on the floor, and steal only after the other lock drops.

The official lobby text is the whole loop: buy a brainrot, steal brainrots from other players, generate money, rebirth, and buy slaps plus troll gear. Desktop, mobile, and tablet are all supported.

Before you leave spawn

  1. Step on the lock in your base. Player guides describe a yellow floor circle and a 60-second starting lock. While it is up, other players cannot walk in and take your units.
  2. The lock does not renew itself. When it ends, lock again.
  3. Buy one affordable brainrot from the central red carpet so the base produces cash. A payback sample uses Gangster Footera at $30 per second and a $4,000 price. Use the price and income printed on the unit in front of you.
  4. Collecting cash matters less than keeping the lock up and replacing weak units.

First steals

Steal only when the target base has no active lock. Touch the brainrot inside that base and get it home. If the owner rebirths while you are carrying their unit, the steal disappears. Brainrots that were still walking home when someone rebirths return to the red carpet.

Early gear that shows up on the first rebirth row is the Friend Controller, Iron Slap, Gravity Coil, and Bee Launcher. You do not need a late-game combo on the first night.

When the rebirth button lights

The control sits on the left of the screen and is described as a pair of rotating arrows. It will not confirm until the cash and the named brainrots are in your base. Read that panel. The public table further down this site is a copy of the last opened rebirth article, and older rows have already changed once.

Before Update 66, rebirth took every brainrot in the base. It now takes the required ones and most of your cash. Anything you still want to keep has to be somewhere the reset does not consume. Players move those units to a trusted friend first. Required units are spent. Do not treat a second account as a way to kick someone out of the server. Forcing a disconnect so you can loot them is a separate abuse report, and this guide does not teach it.

A sensible first session

Lock, buy one unit, steal from open bases, and rebirth when the panel's requirements are met. Rebirth 2 is the first row that adds a floor. Rebirth 3 is the row that adds the Grapple Hook. Both change how you move more than another hour of holding Common-tier cash does.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What should a new player do first?

Lock your base, buy one brainrot from the red carpet so cash starts coming in, and steal only from a base whose lock has dropped. Open the rebirth panel before you reset so you can see the cash and the exact brainrots that rebirth will take.

What does a rebirth remove?

The rebirth panel takes the required brainrots and most of your cash. Since Update 66 it no longer takes every brainrot in the base. Brainrots still walking to your base go back to the red carpet. Gear from earlier rebirths stays, and you gain that row's multiplier, cash bonus, extra lock time, and any new slot or gear.

How do mutations and traits change income?

A brainrot can have one mutation. Traits stack on top of it. The mutation article's worked numbers add the multipliers together, then multiply the base income. A $65M/s example becomes $81.25M/s with Gold (1.25x) and $715M/s with Cyber (11x).

Which codes work right now?

Every code in the archive is recorded as expired or sold out. BESTBRAINROTEVER is not listed as active or expired because October 2026 roundups disagree about it. Redeem from the side-menu control in your own server and trust the in-game result.
